The short version
This site sets no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies. It does use Google Analytics, and Analytics only runs if you accept it: until you do, no Analytics cookie is written and no Google script is loaded at all.
What is actually set
Cloudflare security cookies. Cloudflare sits in front of this site and may set a cookie to tell legitimate visitors apart from automated attacks. It is functional, not used for advertising, and cannot be turned off without turning off the protection.
WordPress session cookies. Only if you log in to the site’s administration area, which applies to me and to nobody else.
Google Analytics, only after you accept. If you accept in the banner, Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_<id> to tell one visit from another and to count returning visitors. They expire after two years. Your choice is remembered in a first-party cookie named vo_consent, which is set whether you accept or decline, and is the only cookie set if you decline.
A setting for the home page animation. If you pause the animation on the home page, that choice is kept in your browser’s local storage under the name vo3d-paused, so it stays paused on your next visit. Resuming the animation deletes it. It stays in your browser and is never sent to this site or to anyone else.
The chat assistant, only if you open it. Your conversation is kept in your browser’s session storage under the name voChatV1, so it survives moving between pages, and it is erased when you close the tab. It is not a cookie. Your recent messages are sent back to this site with each new message you send, so that the assistant has the context (see the Privacy Policy). The assistant sets no cookies.
What is not set
No Meta pixel. No advertising network. No cross-site tracking of any kind.
What changed, and when
On September 2, 2026 Google Analytics was added to this site, and this page was updated before it went live — which is what the previous version of this page promised would happen. A consent banner was added at the same time: the Analytics script is not requested until you accept it, so declining leaves this site loading no third-party script at all.
On September 25, 2026 the home page was rebuilt with an optional animation, and this page was updated before it went live to describe the one thing that animation stores in your browser.
On October 13, 2026 an optional chat assistant was added, and this page was updated before it went live to describe what it keeps in your browser. It sets no cookies and loads no third-party script.
A cookie policy that describes cookies a site does not set is as wrong as one that omits the cookies it does. If advertising is ever added, this page will be updated before that goes live too.
Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings. Blocking Cloudflare’s security cookie may cause this site to challenge you more often.
