What an audit is

An audit is a report produced from public HTTP requests to the site you name. It states what is blocked, what is missing and how to fix it, with the evidence attached. No access to your systems is used or required.

What is delivered, and what is not

Delivered: a written report you can verify line by line against your own live site.

Not delivered, and not promised: appearing in ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews or any AI assistant; a specific position in search results; a specific score; or indexing within a given time. None of those are under my control or anyone else’s. Any offer that promises them is guessing.

Implementation work

Implementation is quoted separately and requires access to your site, a verified backup made before any change, and an agreed maintenance window. I will not change a live site without those three. A written rollback plan is part of every engagement.

Platforms

Audits are performed on any platform. Implementation is done on WordPress and at the server level on Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed and Cloudflare. For other systems the exact changes are delivered for your own developer to apply. Wix and Squarespace do not allow the required server-level files, and I will say so instead of taking the work.

Confidentiality

Findings about your site are yours. I do not publish a client’s domain, findings or data. Public examples used in my own material are anonymised, or are my own sites.

Payment and refunds

Terms are agreed per engagement before work starts. If an audit cannot be performed because the site is unreachable or the platform makes it pointless, it is not charged.

Liability

Recommendations are given in good faith and based on measurements stated in the report. Applying changes to a live system is done at the site owner’s decision, and a verified backup is the owner’s responsibility unless the engagement explicitly includes making one.
